She had been nick named "K.D." when she arrived here at Legate Hill, as we had been told she was a kennel dog. After 5 minutes of her in the kennel, with constant screaming, she became a house dog instantly, and so resided for the rest of her days. The original "Katie", she was extremely intelligent with personality plus...almost human. Though she did not finish, she did win her futurity class under LaMar Kuhns. K.D. was a wonderful mother. Even at the age of 13 she would mother her 11 year old daughter.
